thank you for preserving me
from the terrors of the night
let them who say aha,
the Lord has deserted him,
be confounded in all their ways
righteous is your holy pathway
keep me always on your path
be kind to me.
forgive me my iniquity.
in extreme frustration did i wander
bring me back into your path
for you are my Lord from everlasting
you created me in my mother's womb
do not let me fall into sheol
