starting up

this is a new blog for me.  i have lost contact with most of my old blogs.  i  am a seventy year old poet living in fort worth, texas.  I have an advanced degree in english from the university of California at Berkeley.  I have been published in the Sewanee Review, Word Riot, Café Review, Fort Worth Poet and DFW Poetry Review among other places.  I live in a retirement center. my 94 year old mother lives in a nearby nursing home.  I am retired from a position in data processing.  I m a believing Christian.  my usual reading is contemporary poetry and the Bible.  I have never been married and have no children.  I drive a nice car.
