A trip to hell

at night i went to hell, gray and. bombed. a trashed out city. i ended up underground; low ceilinged, all in ruins toilets and urinals. eternal dusk. homeless men were wandering around. i ended up in an empty stall. someone next to me. i lost my shoes. wandered barefoot. found some shoes went outside, a trip to hell. 02/19 martin luther king day.

becoming blind

losing my eyesight...slowly, and control of my urinary... the ravages of advancing age at almost 81, i am resigned to the inevitable. who will want to see my report? at least i have the comfort of knowing i will be taken care of. i am so wonderfully blessed because i have this generous nursing home. they will look after me until i am completely gone. and even then i have the hope of seeing my blessed family again. i will not number them right now, but they are many and diverse. in the meantime i have friends, my fellow travelers and staff. i thank God who takes care of me. i can only afford this because i am poor, but blessed...and live in the gretest society that has ever existed. praise God's only eternal Son and the Holy Spirit, the three in one. i live only to praise their name they are forever One and the same.
